DESCRIPTION These caps are machined to increase airflow around the cap with a 'fin' design machined into the outside to draw in air around the cap. They are available in 1 color, a champagne anodized look.

DESCRIPTION WIth gas qualities differing all around the globe you're best off protecting your motorcycle against impurities any way possible. Your bike comes equipped with a fuel filter which protects the gas coming out the fuel tank "Typically located in your petcock" before reaching your carb or injectors but that's not enough. When this filter gets clogged you're stranded. Why not filter out as much as possible before it even gets to this critical stage by installing one of Twin Air's Fuel Filler FIlters. No modifications necessary, all you do is simply install this under your filler cap and as you fill up your tank it will catch anything and everything it can alleviating some of the work of your inline filter. It will filter out as much of the big stuff before it even touches your standard fuel filter. Every once in a while take it out and clean it off with Contact Cleaner and reinstall. Preventative measures will save you money down the line.

Great bike! Tons of power! Suspension is great. Will need heavier spring rate if you are a larger rider. Experiment with gearing for better feel. GYTR tuner is a great investment. Love it!!

Its a 10 year old motocross bike, with very low hours. Perfect for an Enduro conversion. This bike astounds me. One day I'm riding MX on a track, the next I'm riding in the desert on single track. Its unstoppable, and just so easy and forgiving. I love this bike.

Fast, good handling, only thing I dont like it its heavy and it takes about 6 kicks to start cold. Its like a 4 stroke.

Overall great bike, wish it had a little more snap in the bottom end but other than that lots of power.

just did a OEM top end on it at the beginning of the season and it runs great.I plan on having it ported by Eric Gorr for more Low to Mid-Range in February 2014
  8. Anyone running? I know some run women's nylons tied off at the bottom of the radiator like this: http://www.thumpertalk.com/wiki/_/prepping-for-muddy-conditions-video-r45

Very like the ease to innitiate to this bike. Good suspension setup, nice handling but a little lack in power. I upgrade it throught the years with this : Suspension : Stiffer .46kg/mm Factory Connection fork springs, Factory Connection lowering link, thicker FF5 Factory Connection oil in the HSSD. So the bike is now more stable without sacrifying is handling Engine : C4MX ported cylinder head, Pro Circuit camshaft and complete valvetrain, Yoshimura RS4 full exhaust, Moto Tassinari Air4orce, TUF 43mm Throttle body insert, EBC HD clutch spring, Twin air filters, PC racing Pro seal, removed backfire screen with a remaped ECM by Eddie Sisneros. I have now a better response, strong power everywhere with a lot of overrev. Control : Renthal twinwall handlebar, Zeta rubber killer, Zeta fold back lever, Motion pro revolver throttle system, Motion pro grips, Tusk footpegs. Drive : DID VT2 Xring chain, Supersprox stealth 48 teeth rear sprocket, Supersprox 13 teeth front sprocket, Zeta axle blocs. Body : Custom plastics mix, Custom graphic kit, Factory FX B4 seat cover, Cycra full armor skid plate, Work connection Holeshot device, Work connection Radiators braces, Black rims, Red anodized look hubs, Michelin tire, Moose spokes set, Zeta, breather, clips, plugs, washer and cap. With all this upgrade the bike became a real beast on the track.

Ride cooler - as much as 17 degrees C or cooler Championship field-proven performance tested by Team Kawasaki in the 2009 FIM Motocross MX1 Championship By circulating the oil up and down multiple times simultaneously, flow speed is controlled and heat exchange is maximized Better aerodynamics. The airflow follows the surface of a round pipe better than small flat blades Pipes are gapped to minimize mud/sand build-up Installs at the base of the radiator where the water and surrounding air temps are lowest Aluminum mounting panels are customized to each bike model Maintenance-free

WOW, what can I say as a 61 year old buying my last coffin. It still takes work to practice ride MX, but my eleven year older bike (05') makes it harder. I definitely like the 16's smooth predictable power, ergos, suspension, EFI. The rear brake is no doubt touchy (OEM pads still), I stall motor often & have to relearn friction point often. The fork seals are leaking, but KTM says service forks @ 35hrs. I have two other KTMs, 05 SX RFS & 02' 400MXC RFS both with e-button, so I have come to rely on e-start often. So far, lack of kicker hasn't been issue. Spokes have loosened up, rims have dinged, POs did poor maintenance on truing keeping tight. About 3+ hours later, all true and seized spoke nipples freed up. I love the aluminum sheet screws that hold plastic on, lite & effective. And yes, they will not strip out, if you adhere to proper torque. Air filter is no doubt also easier to change, reinstall and I still hate cleaning/servicing them, but this makes it just slightly easier.

So far I don't have ANY complaints! This bike is ready to race in the woods minus protection (hand guards, skid plate). The suspension is plush, brakes are great, and the gearing is pretty darn primo.
