    1982 XR500 Help

    Trying to figure out if electrical is working/needs replaced. Generator tested 263 ohms, pulse tested at 99 ohms. Ignition coil primary tested at 1.7 ohms and the secondary at ~60 ohms w/ the spark plug cap. CDI seems to be the issue, but the results almost seem too bad to be true. The only resistance I found was the Green to Black/Red at 147.77x200k ohms, Black/Red to Black/White Kill at 152.2x200k ohms, and Blue/Yellow to Green at 150.1x200k ohms . The OEM manual does say that a specific tester is needed, but that seems like a farce. Any idea what might be going on? CDI's are a little pricey and I would like to not replace unless needed.

The bike is a 2018 KTM 300 XC-W Six Days. I knew I wanted to go with blue rims, but that was about all I knew. All the other color & style options made it hard to visualize a concept and choose it with confidence. So I sat there on the Dubya Custom Wheel Builder Tool and mixed and matched options for hours. It really is fun. It's easy to send to your riding buds and get their input. I sent at least 10 different options to my buds to get their feedback. The tool really does give you a realistic idea of what the actual wheel will look like.   5. Hey guys, been a frustrating day here and i do apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area. I'm more of a lurker to the point that i had to make a new account to even post here at all. My 74 honda xl350 blinkers and running lights don't work. Got a new battery and had it charged, checked all bulbs to be not blown and correct 6 volts, checked the one fuse this bike has and cleaned all the grounds i can find, can't find the frame ground anywhere, took apart and cleaned the blinker switch (also getting no power) verified that no blinkers/running lights are getting any power, and I'm losing my damn mind trying to figure this out. The only function I DO have is the high beam (indicator also not working, low beam burnt out) and the brake/aft running light. Any suggestions? I have a manual and I've been staring at a wiring diagram all day and I'm more confused than ever.

Needing some help identifying an old Kawasaki I reacantly got and cant seem to find a spark plug for the head and want to make sure that my head is not messed up it measures for a 16mm plug and if the head is messed I want confirme what the bike is before i buy parts just to find out they dont fit Frame number:G4-011761 Engine number: G4-E009261 And there is a 3A kn the cylinder head not sure if that is important or not. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me will be much appreciated

    1975 TY 175

    Hi, I’ve got a 1975 TY 175 that has been sitting in a garage for the last 25 years. I’ve recently got this old trials bike running great and in perfect riding condition. I’ve never seen another TY175, I don’t know what their worth. I had minimal rust and is complete.

    I’ve got a complete 1975 TY175 that has been sitting in a garage for the last 25 years. I’ve recently got it running, perfect actually. There are some things held on with wire because I just wanted to get the thing running and ride it. It has minimal rust and has good tires. The thing is, I’ve never seen another TY175. What are they worth?
  9. I just found a 1974 yamaha mx360 for sale by me. Its 90% complete and turns over with good compression but makes no spark. Tank has no dents, plastics arent cracked. The rest of the bike is rusty. But all there. The guy wants $650. Should I cough up the money and buy it? I know it's rare but is it worth it?
  10. Hello, we went to an estate sale today and picked up this old dirt bike. Can you help us figure out what it is, what it is missing and if it might be worth anything? I know the rear fender and headlight is gone. It did not come with any paperwork or title. I dont see any tags or data plates, but maybe i am not looking in the right spot. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
