  1. Picked this up as mostly stock "street legal" a few weeks ago Had to strip out what seemed like a mile of wiring and other garbage that made up the street legal part. It had a handlebar switch that only worked for blinkers, a pull switch with no knob behind the light mask for low beam, no high beam, no key, an exploded tusk dual sport battery kit, and wiring from probly 4 other kits. Stripped it all out and added a baja design kit like my XR, replaced all the plastic, added a 2008 headlight and sumo fender, 12a lithium battery to replace the 5a stocker that wouldn't crank in the cold, and a trail tech voyager (which I can't figure out a mount for yet). Loving the new looks and can't wait till I get my Supermoto wheels and tires next month. Here's how it sits after putting it back together today.

    Honda XR650L (1998)

Love the bike. Complete rebuild/restoration ($4000 or so). The 2nd/5th gears and 14R/48 sprockets are great choices. I love the look I've ended up with and couldn't be happier with the ride on and off road. Great bike for me.

    Yamaha WR426F (2001)

Motor keeps going strong. Only issue I had was the output shaft splines got stripped, requiring me to split the case. This was probably due to way too many clutch ups haha

DESCRIPTION Warp9 supermoto wheels are a great deal for racing or street! Whether you're not racing or nothin, or your racing or something, these are the wheels you want when you're on a budget and that budget dictates you want your wheels to fit and work and last just as much as the more expensive ones. Had her for only a few months. Absolutely love the bike! Gets amazing gas milage, around 65-70, and rather spirited riding. Handles great in the turns, very light and predictable

    Suzuki DR-Z400SM (2007)

Fantastic for Dual sport riding. In its current form it is street-able enough to get to the trail, yet uncompromising off-road.

    Suzuki DR-Z400S (2001)

This Bike is great! On or off road you have excellent power/acceleration once you do a few simple mods. It is very maneuverable, easy to handle and just out right fun to ride.

    Kawasaki KDX220R (1998)

I think I like this bike better than my fully built '90 KDX200 and my '05 Gas Gas DE250. Great power, and with updated suspension, it handles everything.

OE sumo wheels VS Warp 9's

Looking to pick up a set of dedicated road wheels and i just wanted to clarify the differences between them. Cost aside, what is the better setup? I'm looking for ease of change since i'll probably be swapping them once a week. I've read that OE suzuki sumo wheels change easily but i haven't heard anything about the warp 9's. i cant imagine that its much more difficult but i figured i'd ask. Common question i know, but i did search and didn't find any direct answers.

    Honda CRF250R (2011)

Very like the ease to innitiate to this bike. Good suspension setup, nice handling but a little lack in power. I upgrade it throught the years with this : Suspension : Stiffer .46kg/mm Factory Connection fork springs, Factory Connection lowering link, thicker FF5 Factory Connection oil in the HSSD. So the bike is now more stable without sacrifying is handling Engine : C4MX ported cylinder head, Pro Circuit camshaft and complete valvetrain, Yoshimura RS4 full exhaust, Moto Tassinari Air4orce, TUF 43mm Throttle body insert, EBC HD clutch spring, Twin air filters, PC racing Pro seal, removed backfire screen with a remaped ECM by Eddie Sisneros. I have now a better response, strong power everywhere with a lot of overrev. Control : Renthal twinwall handlebar, Zeta rubber killer, Zeta fold back lever, Motion pro revolver throttle system, Motion pro grips, Tusk footpegs. Drive : DID VT2 Xring chain, Supersprox stealth 48 teeth rear sprocket, Supersprox 13 teeth front sprocket, Zeta axle blocs. Body : Custom plastics mix, Custom graphic kit, Factory FX B4 seat cover, Cycra full armor skid plate, Work connection Holeshot device, Work connection Radiators braces, Black rims, Red anodized look hubs, Michelin tire, Moose spokes set, Zeta, breather, clips, plugs, washer and cap. With all this upgrade the bike became a real beast on the track.
