I have a xr100, and when i don’t have full choke on, it’s super boggy when you give it even just like a quarter throttle from idle fast. But when I put full choke on I can give it a lot more throttle suddenly and it won’t bog. Feel free to ask questions please!!

Found some high quality craftsmanship in my forks today. Guessing the springs weren’t doing the trick anymore. You can tell a lot of hard work went into making these spacers. Must have been made using CNC precision.

XR/CRF100 2003 XR100 only runs with Choke on but not good

Hi everyone! I picked up a 2003 XR100 recently and im having so much trouble with it.. I've read everything regarding my troubles in these forums but still cannot fix the issue -The bike will start but the idle is really bad (starts on first or second kick) -when i give it gas it sputters and bogs down bad then it dies. -when the choke is on it runs and drives but sputters really bad and of course its not going to go fast when the choke is on. I've cleaned and even re-jetted factory specs the carb. Even played with all kinds of float settings still no dice I purchased a brand new carburetor (OEM) and a Boot manifold for the carb housing and installed it..... Still same problem I changed the spark plug (the old one had lots of carbon buildup it was gunked looks like they rode only w/ the choke on. of course i removed all old gas from the tank and replaced it with 91. I also changed the air filter and the fuel line. I also looked for vacuum leaks by spraying carb cleaner everywhere you can think of while the bike was running to see if there was an air leak but there is none. I just ordered a new CDI Box and ignition coil to eliminate that. Does anyone know if it could be something else? Super appreciate everyone's help!! Thank you so much! -
Just got a 85 honda xr100r but the kick start is locked up in pretty sure engine is seized so I'm working on fixing that. But my actual question is when you take the carb off the bike can you just squirt a bunch of wd40 in the card and let it all drain out to clean it or do you actually have to take it apart? Its been sitting for a few months
