Love what it's becoming. If only most of the mods I've done to it came stock... but all around it's a good bike for the money.

Only 5 gears, keeps having charging problems. It's not bad, it's just not really good either. Uncomfortable on long rides. On good days it's a 5/5 just in fun factor, but on bad days it's really just a pig. edit: After another year of ownership it's still growing on me. Having less problems and more fun on it now that I've done some changes on it.

Good bike. I bought this bike in 2012 not know the hours on the motor. I put another 75 hours before doing a new top end with Kibble White Valves. Owned CRF230F... under powered, Owned CRF450X... heavy. This CRF250X is just right for me.

  9. This was discussed a bit in another thread, but I think it needs its own thread. Who does JG33 sign with this week? Yoshimura Suzuki to permanently replace JS7 or BTO to fill in for Milsaps? Or, are there other alternatives? Saturday was obviously an audition, and I'm leaning towards Suzuki since he hasn't ridden one before (as far as I can remember) and all of a sudden shows up on one.

    Yosh or FmF slip-on?

Is the slip-ons worth the money. Is the Yosh or fmf better. Anyone have tried them.

Great starter bike. Very easy to ride and a lot of fun. Pretty heavy and not really that fast, but still an awesome bike.

Solid platform to work with. . Carter and Gary Bailey worked on final suspension settings, which are TCD's handy work. The C4MX modified race motor arrived and is ready for installation. New black plastics await the graphics. The Yosh pipe is on. Rental bars cut to 31.5" are on. Sharp footpegs too. The Braking oversized rotor. Graphics are on their way. Here the initial start up of the C4MX motor at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJF-VuBRauw

Overall very happy with look of bike & also with the power it produces. Have to say with all the mods I found it not worth paying the extra cash for the big name stuff, like the zeta hand bars & covers (with indicators), the hand bars do not fit perfect on stock handlebars & the covers just look like cheap made in china things that I sell in my shop for a fraction of the price. The rear rack was a bitch to fit as holes didn't lineup good. Clutch upgrade was easy to do. Exhaust was a good fit. 42T custom made rear sprocket from Renthal is so light weight I am worried about how long it will last, it's as light as a feather! Material: Titanium The TRS is yet another race proven exhaust from Yoshimura. The Pro-Series system offers a titanium header and mid-pipe, an easily removable cone-shaped end cap, and a USFS approved Spark Arrested insert. The TRS off-road system is built for one thing, performance.
