Hi All, Every time I pull my bike out (every few days) and turn the petcock on I can hear the fuel enter the line and fill the bowl. This leads me to believe it is evaporating in the carb or entering the engine. Is this a normal?

So I recently bought a 2006 yz125 with a fully installed vortex ignition system i have been told that there was 10 preloaded maps for, type of riding, ground type, trails, etc. I was wondering if anybody knew what these ten maps are because i have no idiots what they are

Just got a 2006 yz 125 and have been riding has rode good, but yesterday while riding i felt the bike pull a bit while just coasting then the bike made a loud popping noise, so i grabbed the clutch and then when i let off the clutch the bike immediately jerked and stopped, after that it was hard to start and after it finally does start now it makes an awful and loud metal on metal grinding noise, changed the oil to make sure it wasn’t that. any ideas on what it could be or what i could check?

So I have an issue, I recently rebuilt my yz125 and then engine got taken out. The motor runs fine just like before but the clutch doesn’t. The actuator arm which is moved by the clutch lever on the handlebars keeps returning to the wrong position and isn’t activating the clutch making it separate. The clutch lever is loose and doesn’t have the clutch feel. Not too sure what’s going on here with the actuator arm but I need to figure it out. If anyone can provide some help that would be greatly appreciated!! As you can see the actuator arm is in more of a 1:00 position rather than the 3:00 or the 90° position it’s supposed to be in.

Pretty good bike. Put more money getting to where it is now than i would like to admit lol. Mods start at full fmf shorty exhaust, pro taper 7/8 handle bars, cheap ebay graphics, weird gas cap vent thing also from ebay, torc1 levers, bike master clutch perch, few other odds and ends. Only thing i dont like is the stock carb. Its very sensitive. this is getting replaced with a lectron as soon as i can justify spending $450 on a carb. -

i Have a 2016 yz125 not a 15 thupertalk hasn't updated it in yet but thats ok! i purchased my 2016 yamaha yz125 brand new from the yamaha dealer a few months back. its my first 2stroke i have ever owned and i absolutely love the bike! i orignally went to pick up a 250 2stroke but they had just sole the last one so i grabbed the last 2016 yz125 at the time. the bike runs great an very strong, even stock. i have never had any problems what so ever an when you get used to a 2smoke there is really nothing you can't take care of. i use yamalube premix at 32.1 ratio an i change my transmission fluid every few rides with yamalube 10w 40. so far i installed a FMF factory fatty pipe with the stock silencer an i just recently installed Vforce 3 reeds and they woke the bike up big time. it sounds great an runs even better. i started mixing my fuel 50% 93 octane an 50% 110 octane leaded and the bike is so much more crispy! this bike is my baby and I'm glad i went with the #BlewCrew lol -
