  1. I just picked up a 2017 husky fc250 the air forks seem pretty good to me. But I've got a really nice set of CC forks off of a 2012 250sx that have a bunch of work done to them DLC, kashima coatings, and valving that works well for me. I know people have done this swap and would like to hear their EXPERIENCE. What all is necessary to do the swap and how hard was it to get dialed in? I've been told the forks are different lengths did this matter? Thanks in advance
  2. I had bought a used 2013 CRF450R , the front fork was revalved and rebuild in a company(by a previous owner) , and unfortunately i dont know what they have done . shootouts suggest using 35psi for stock fork . i never test more than 34psi and , i am wondering if its better to test it or test different range of psi from 33-36 !? i dont know if i should use the same setup or go to the direction i feel more comfortable . i usually feel comfortable with 33.5psi in wood and 34 in track
  3. I have a 2017 KTM 250 SX-F with 12.2 hours on it. I went to change the seals on the front forks per the maintenance schedule dictated by the owners manual. I soon found that my fork chrome plating is scored up to the point that if I run my thumb nail over it I can feel it. Has any one else ran in to the same type of wear?????? I called KTM North American Head Quarters and they seemed surprised by the wear on my forks. Stay tuned to see if they will be willing to fix the coating issue.

    Air forks

So I bought a 16 rmz 250 brand new about two years ago, it’ll be 2 years on April 20th. I’m having leaky seal issues. Ive already had the fork rebuilt once and haven’t put many hours on the bike since then. Is anyone else having issues with leaky fork seals. Note that the bike was standing under its own weight all winter against the wall and only started leaking when I put it on a stand two weeks ago and has been leaking ever since I took the weight of the bike off the suspension. Is this common? Or do I have a bigger problem here?
  5. I'm looking to convert my '16 KX450F SFF TAC forks from air to spring, and I think you can build one from OEM Kawasaki parts. It looks like if I buy the KX250F SFF spring cartridge, spring guide, and lower cap I can replace the TAC cartridge. Once concern I have is the SFF TAC is a 49 mm fork, and the SFF spring is a 48 mm. I can machine simple parts if needed, but don't want to have this turn into a major re-engineering project! Has anyone done this or know someone who has?
  6. On my tc125 I have about roughly 40-50 hours on my airforks and when I go to pump in air the gauge on my wp air pump won’t go past 7.10ish bars and then proceeds to drop constantly and I am not able to reach my 8.5 bar of air. Is it the forks? Or the pump has gone bad. What can I do to fix this issue? Thanks, also even when I could pump up to the right pressure I could never get the pressure gauge to settle at a specific level it always slowly drops what’s up with that?
