To all who see this post, HELP ! Where: Glamis, Ca When: Friday, January the 27th Subject: Dirt Bike Wheelie Crash by Campground at 50 MPH = RAGDOLL ROLLIN * 5 = 50' OF BACK BREAKING CARNAGE = SEE PICS Weather: 20-25 MPH crosswind I wheelied through this whoop section on this little trail into camp, when all off a sudden I was hit by a gnarly crosswind. I tried to save it, but at 45 MPH I just couldn't. My back end swapped out and Ii tried saving it. Whiskey throttle took over and I went bye bye though. My chest hit the bars, then I just RAGDOLLED for about 50' and 5 flips. From what people say, it was a really bad looking crash and I should be luck I'm not paralyzed or worse. All I remember, was seeing dirt as my head was hitting the ground, then a glimpse of grey light, then black/brown light as my head was crumbling into the ground. I slowly moved my hands and feet to get to my bike and shut it down. It was then when I knew something was really wrong with my lower back. I ICED my back pretty much the rest of the weekend. Once I got home on sunday morning, I went to the UR. They gave me some x rays and said I have no fractures in my back, just severe swelling & bruising from the hard impacts. As well as muscle spasms that are pulling my spine out of alignment. My friend took a look that is a PT, she said that she sees something that could be a fracture. in the L2 region I believe. What do you think? I truly am grateful. BMY BACK STILL IS SWOLLEN LIKE A MOFO. MY ASSCHEEK NOW GOES UP TO MY MID BACK & I HAVE TO WEAR SWEATS OR ELASTIC WAIST PANTS/PJ's. I CAN BARELY EVEN FEEL MY BACK, IT'S LIKE A WEIRD FIFIERY, NUMB, TINGLING FEELING. ANY THOUGHTS ON A DIAGNOSIS OR REMEDY FOR ME TO HEAL? DOCTOR RECOMMENDATION IN ORANGE COUNTY? SEE THE X RAY PICS.
