  1. Newly single, and am finding that everyone to hang out with is either married with kids - no free time, - or not interested in the same stuff. I really would like to get out for some throttle therapy with people who are single track types and can have a beer or two. Maybe even single! Ha. I work in Susanville CA, but live in Cedar City, UT. I'm gone a lot of the time, but if someone's already riding and I can tag along that's ideal. Arizona, NM, Utah, Nevada, and NorCal are all places I'm willing to travel. I'm self sufficient so I don't need a babysitter, just some bros/broettes to ride with. My skill level would probably rate as intermediate, though its been over a year since I got some good roost time in. I've never ridden tracks really, but I'd be interested in trying.
  2. Any of you CA guys riding the sand-filled skateparks? Seems like a rad time to come visit! https://www.foxnews.com/us/california-skatepark-sand-dirtbikes-social-distancing
  3. Team race on Sat and Motocross race on Sunday, race just one or both up to you...
  4. I have watched Washington State change over the years and being at a place in my life where all I want to do is ride trails, I am considering leaving Washington State. Where would you move to if you were set up in life and all you had to do was to enjoy the next 30 years riding trails? Your help is greatly appreciated. I have 3 places in mind, what say you guys? Where would you go? My ideal riding is technical single track. For instance I love little Naches, Tahuya obviously and Shelton areas. Thanks everyone who chimes in, much appreciated. PS. Pics are a huge bonus.
  5. Hello, I am looking for people to go on off road rides with. So far been to Azusa Cyn OHV and Gorman. Would prefer a little less sand a bit more green and not too far, like a day trip. What are our options?
  6. We lost our special space for land use issues. Bummer... I kinda liked it... You could find the stuff after it fell off the first weeks radar.
  7. I went to the Donks on sat to help Donk set sag on his rebuilt rear shock. The Wolf shows up , and after settling our differences, off we went on a spectacular ride! Conditions were mostly rutted and 1 lined. The Wolf and I shot up a hill off the road and cleaned it easily, even though I wasn't feeling it myself much to ride. We went to wall of denial w/ the Wolf leading. I made that last turn , and I was face to face with him, and went way far left and hit a big rock cluster and fortunately made the climb. Wolf wanted to go to Hook hill , so Donk and followed him to the path and parked our bikes to watch. I had no intention of ever trying to climb hook ever again after finishing my knee and having to get surgery to repair it. Plus, as the Donk always said, if there's no way to make it ,why even try it! He's right really, this isn't a ordinary hill. It shoots up and turns right off camber, and then goes on face of rock so ffin steep that you lose your drive and high side w/ painful results . The fact that everyone from the whole donkey crew and more have tried , and only 2 people have successfully climbed it speaks volumes of how difficult and terrifying it is to come back down. Those 2 are the squid and the cyco. I personally watched the cyco go up in like after 8 tries. The Donk and I get our favorite food out to enjoy the show , while the wolf scans the hill. It's pretty rutted and one lined. Wolf takes off , and in my opinion is riding quite well. after several attempts , I go against my own rule and start to gear up . Donk says are you going to try it, and I just look at him! My first attempt I try the outside line and don't even get to the hill! It's my second attempt that I carry more speed and take a inside of rock attempt line and actually become the 3rd person to make Hook hill!!! We go and try commander hill and don't even get up half way. We decide to have lunch in a nice little pasture, and good thing I brought my own food, while Wolf brought food for "OTHERS" ? We go up another canyon that hasn't been made in many years. After about 1 hr of loopouts and high sides , I get to the top between 2 posts. Which is the name of this canyon. Off to the Cobb we go , which is in terrible shape. Wolf and I actually push and drag our bikes all the way to the top! We finish up the wide hill and snake hill as the storm nears. Always a great day at Donkeys!
  8. Thinking about getting the Dal Soggio Ray kit for my 2016 500 exc Six Days 4cs forks. Has any body local installed this kit them selves. I want to do it myself and I was wanting to know how difficult it is.
  9. California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. Better sleeping video and music than anything Frankienstien has done to date. ?
  10. Did a day trip out there yesterday, did a little loop, starting with Arrastra to Tejon, and Long Dave. I scouted out Whata, which was pretty smooth I loved all of them, but there were some beginner riders in my group that were ready to kill me after going down Arrastra 😏 😏 I keep hearing things about Snowy and Piru - what are they like? How do they compare to Arrastra?

  12. So I was thinking...... When aliens finally land on earth and reveal themselves, what if they are not our size. Scifi movies always make them approximately our size. Why would an alien from another planet or solar system necessarily be our size ? I mean they could be the size of an ant... or even a dinosaur. Their space ship could be the size of a silver dollar... or as big as a city. Man, I hope this happens in my lifetime... preferably while Trump is in office. Cause he'll get us the best deal on alien shit. 👍
  13. I'm headed down from Northern California in late April/May with my wife and our two dogs. We're just trying to have a relaxing vacation with our dogs and go around and eat at some good places / beaches etc. We were thinking LA but even as far as San Diego sounds good. Wife gave me the a-ok to bring my bike so I can sneak out out a bit to ride. Any suggestions on where to stay?
  14. Hi Trying to buy an older yz125 w a green sticker. I came across a 2004 that is green sticker. Per the owner "CA used to do a lottery thing on a certain year and bike and it was the 04 125 that got the green sticker". I am gonna confirm the VIN, but was wondering if it's in fact true that CA issued green stickers with a lottery system for 2003 and newer bikes? I tried searching and couldn't find anything. Thank you all for you advice.

Been sitting in my garage for a bit over a month. Going in the trash monday. Zip 91387 90/90-21 120/90-18 Yes I know there is a classified section and i did post there but let's be honest, nobody looks at anything in the TT classifieds.. ...lol
  17. My son's 15-16 WR250F is needing a new clutch/basket. I'm not interested in an auto clutch so my question Is do any of you have experience with the Hinson billetproof or the Rekluse core manual torq. Drive. There is a $200 difference favoring the Rekluse and of course both sites say their product is the best. Any pointers here would be appreciated.
  18. It was a large task to recover my 4 Craftsman toolbox's after the fire. I took 5 firemen and myself to load 1 bottom box. I can not say enough kind words about the manager of Santa Rosa Sear's. They replaced every hand tool out of the store's profit not corporate. I live in a great community, thank you again Sears! Guaranteed for life.
  19. Few is back! I Just got a fresh 16 to start off the new toys lost in the fire.
  20. I haven’t been to jawbone canyon since I was a kid in early 2000s. I’ve heard all the trails are blocked off now, is this true or is it still a legit trail riding Mecca and worth driving 7 hours to for a multi day riding trip? Thanks
  21. Hey guys, just grabbed a flat track bike and looking for a place to ride. I know Milestone has a flat track that is open Wed/Sun 10-4. Perris raceway only shows race events and race practice which I can't do at my skill level. Where else can I go and get some beginner level practice in? I am looking near Greater Los Angeles area.

  23. I didn't see any pre-race discussion on this annual carnage-fest, but here's a tiny clip of "Spectator Hill" - a granite section that makes you feel like you're at Erzberg. I'll post a race highlight video later this week. Spoiler alert, it's rocks, rocks and more rocks. As you can see, the conditions were perfect. I'm racing B Super Senior (50+) on a 2018 Husky TX300. I put one of those Gekko V33 tires on, and it made me look like a much better rider than I am.
