  1. My brother was rebuilding my top end for me on my 2002 yz250, and due to a failure on his torque wrench, he over tightened and snapped one of my studs . Now i only have 5 of 6 working bolts on the cylinder head. I have 2 questions. We are supposed to be leaving for a 5 day riding trip in a few days, so we don't have time to order a new one. A: can I achieve enough compression and avoid any disasters for one week without 1 of the 6? b: There is a pretty awesome machine shop by his house that may be able to make us one, but I can't locate the specs. Does anyone have the exact specs for a 2002 yz 250 cylinder head stud? Any and all help would be much appreciated.
  2. I got a question. I own a 2016 KX 85. It ran amazing after it first bought it used. I was riding one day with a bogging issue and about 35 minutes of riding I shut it off to take a break. Came back 20 minutes later and it would not start.I changed the spark plug, cleaned out the carb,checked the reeds,and tried hill starting it but nothing .When ever I try to hill start it I can hear it trying to crank and It starts for like half a second but then dies.There is spark coming from the plug though.I took the cylinder off and the piston and cylinder are &%$#@!ed.The piston rings were stuck in the grooves and I had to use pliers and a screwdriver to get it out.There was a ton of blow-by and the cylinder was scored.I bought a new piston already but how can I fix my cylinder.Im thinking of getting it repaired and replayed by either millennium,PowerSeal USA, or usnicom.This is my first time owning a 2 stroke.Any answers or tips.

After a fresh replate by millennium technologies (they had access to this new piston for sizing), a new wiseco piston with proper exhaust bridge holes drilled, new wrist pin and bearing, and new power valves, my 2001 rm125 has a rattling sound coming from the engine. This bike is seriously testing me. It hasn’t given back what I’ve put into it in the slightest. Someone please help me diagnose this noise.   4. Hello everyone, I'm working with a 06' YZ250F. I'm figuring I need a new cylinder but this is what I'm working with. I was in the process of replacing the crank bearings and when taking it apart i noticed that one of the piston curclips came off and ended up damaging the lower half of the cylinder. It's not terribly deep buts its definitely there. I found the clip in the bottom end once I split the case. I didn't find much of any metal shavings at all once apart. Just the mangled clip. What are your thoughts? Mandatory to replace the cylinder? It's an old bike and not to sure if its worth buying a new cylinder. Thanks for any advice.

  6. Blew top and bottom end last week and my cylinder, piston , crank , head are all destroyed, not sure about anything else yet . I wanted to know if anyone knew where to get a brand new oem cylinder, everywhere has shown that they were out of stock or not able to be added to my cart. If anyone knows where I can get a new oem cylinder please let me know where and a price if possible , thank you
