  1. I am hoping to pay for a banner ad on thumper talk and was hoping someone would be familiar with how to do this? I appreciate any help.
  2. Hello all, I’ve been looking all over forums and can’t seem to find an answer. my clutch lever felt soft on my 2016 250xcw, so I went to bleed the system. First, I tried to gravity bleed (which usually works fine) the fluid would not flow once I cracked the bleeder valve on the slave and pumped the lever. So instead, I tried to reverse bleed with a syringe. After strapping zip ties to the hose, I could not pump fluid into the system. There is no blockage on the bleed nipple, I removed fluid from reservoir and checked for blockage from up top. Oh, the last step I tried was hooking up a vacuum pump to the bleed nipple. That did not work either with vacuum pump set at 10 psi and not losing pressure. anyways, my next step is to rebuild master cylinder. Does anyone have any input before I go ahead and do so? I also removed my after market clutch lever, tried with OEM Incase it wasn’t pushing the push rod hard enough. That wasn’t the issue..
  3. Was thinking about the technology of mountain bike tubeless systems and was wondering if it's possible, when getting a pinch flat or a tear in a Dirtbike inner tube, to pull the valve stem core and then pour some tire sealant into the tube. will the sealant stop the air leak?
  4. I'm up for a new rear tire for my 250 XC-F. Stock is a 110/100-18 Dunlop AT81. Ive got 23 hours on it and it's not chunking just slight rounding of the center section. The front is a 90/90-21 and it's holding up extremely well. I don't know if I should throw another AT81 on or try something else. I've been riding a mix of hardpack motocross tracks and Red River sandy off-road trails. My closest tracks/trails are hardpack. Here in Texas when the black dirt dries it becomes concrete and sometimes loose dirt settles on the surface and becomes very slick. On the other hand my favorite trails are very sandy but I drive an hour or so to ride them. What would your suggestion be for a new rear tire? Soft-medium? Medium-hard? Intermediate? I ran a couple Michelin Starcross MH3's and Dunlop 756's and liked them but that was several years ago. I'm leaning towards the Bridgestone X30 but I hear it's not as good as the 404 was.

    ohio Tires

    So, Im looking for a good rear tire to put on my KDX200. Ive thought about a hybrid tire but here in Ohio we have lots of mud and loose gravel. I was wondering what tire would be best for loose gravel filled hillclimbs but also works good in slimy type mud. but also works decent in hardpack. Main concern is the loose gravel hillclimbs, been thinking about a soft terrain tire as well such as a Metzeler MC360 Mid-Soft tire which has good reviews. anyone from Ohio have any good suggestions? not looking for a DOT tire though either.
  6. So I might’ve made a mistake putting a 160 tire on instead of a 150. I thought I did my research and it seems like enough people were riding 160 with just some chain slap. My chain is dragging on the tire while it’s on the stand. Could I work with this or should I size down to 150? Pretty sure this is a 4.25 warp 9 rim. I was also thinking about getting the rim shifted but couldn’t find anyone else who has done the same. https://imgur.com/a/UpSX86O
  7. Time to upgrade the front tire on my YZ 125. I ride almost exclusively on singletrack trails at Foresthill, Georgetown, Cow Mountain, and the Sierra Nevada etc. Anyone have recommendations for a good enduro front tire? I'd prefer to spend less than $100 on this tire. Pretty new to dirtbike tires, so feel free to school me. I replaced my rear with a Motoz Mountain Hybrid, but think I'm gonna spring for a Shinko 505 Cheater next. Thanks!
