I put the add-on kickstarter on my 2017 EXC 350, and it doesn't return correctly. It has some binding near end of the return, and stops short of the solid stopping point. I lined up the mark with the spring hole like it's supposed to be, and the spring wound about 1/2 turn. It wouldn't really stay in its hole in the case very well, but I got it together that way. The instructions say to make sure the spring is centered on the shaft, and it didn't really stay put that way. Does anyone have any experience with this. Is the spring supposed to wrap around a full 1.5 turns? Thanks, Toby

Hey! Plan to get 1 of these bikes but got some questions on which is best for my situation/need So my use of 1 one of these bikes will be: When im home i will use it as a street bike stock, only supermoto tires and changed gearing for street. I will not be going for more than 1 hour on the Street without pauses. Im often on a country place i know where there is forrests/woods with mixed types of trails all over the place where i have always wanted to go and explore as a kid. When im there i will change to normal stock tires and gearing So my questions are: How is the Exc 350 on road with Supermoto setup compared to the Exc 450 with same setup? What speed can the 350 reach without screaming/very high RPM compared 450? Can the Exc 350 hit 80 mph without very high rev? Will not cruise at 80 mph, just see if it can hit that speed with not very much effort. Because i wont be driving faster than that on road since that is 10 mph faster than the fastest roads here sort of. If the 350 can hit that without problems/super high RPM then is there is there really need for the 450? Why i considered the Exc 450 is because i want something that i will not sell withing in some months, that could be a possibility of happening if its too heavy compared to the Exc 350 etc but i mean POWER wise. I want a bike that i wont be bored of because it lacks power or slow etc, because i am not sure about that with the Exc 350, i dont know if i would want more power after a week of riding with it and thats why considering the Exc 450. On the forrests/woods area, is the 450 super heavy? The lighter the better because i want something that wont be too heavy for me when im exploring areas i have always wanted for years and not sit on a bike that i cant even move with, with my 140 lbs of weight. So the concerns for the 350 is: Too slow for road? Concerns for the 450: To heavy for offroad/forrests? (I will not be able to answer what my riding experince is questions etc, sorry and sorry for a lot of texts) Thanks if you could help ❤️

Hey everyone was wanting to know everyone’s thoughts on what I should do for a exhaust set up. Ktm guys are welcome to put there 2 cents in as there the same bike. I currently have a 2018 fe350 and wanting to ether change the end cap out to get a bit more flow out of it but I’m worried about it being loud. I have already have a JD TUNER with the end screen ripped out (not the spark arrestor) and the reeds out of the air box, so jetting it in won’t be a problem. Also looking at getting a mega bomb header I have read it give u more low to mid power plus 1.5 less db over your current pipe set up. I am looking for a quite exhaust slip on as I don’t like people knowing I’m in the bush ripping around. I have been research about fmf Q4 but can’t find how loud they are over stock with quite Insert in there with the spark arrestor. Basically want power with it being quiet. I’m open to other brands let me know what u guys think.
