Hi, does anyone own an RT 180? I'm in need of some help. I took the exhaust off a couple of weeks ago and will soon be putting it back on but something isnt right. It appears I must of of lost a piece or something. If anyone owns one of these could you please snap a picture of where the exhaust mounts to the frame near the gas tank? Thanks!

Ok, So I have a 2005 yz125 with a pro circuit platinum expansion chamber and a 304 shorty pipe. This bike is incredibly loud. The noise doesn't bother me, I actually love it. However, the people around me do not appreciate it much. I am looking for the quietest exhaust with out loosing performance. The pro circuit isn't bad when your not on the pipe, but its 125, so I'm always on the pipe. any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I did a search and came up empty handed, does anyone have a solution for quieting my stock exhaust? I have a street legal Suzuki rmz250 from 2007. It have a FMF power bomb header and stock muffler. Id ideally like to lower the Db and keep the HP power. Thanks,

Bike is up-jetted to correct jetting, air filter is fairly clean, bike has only got 1200 miles since its most recent top end rebuild recommended is every 6000 miles on this 125 2 stroke road bike, top end was done at garage, always warmed up and ridden nicely. seems to have deep to severe scratches on the piston and cylinder bit, seems to be where the exhaust port is and on that general side. could do with some help on understanding the possible issue so i can stop it from happening again.

So i was doing some maintenance on my youngest son's (just turned 3) PW50 and removed the silencer to check out the black sludge inside it. We bought this machine used and I don't have a clue about its history/hours/maintenance and it has been running well for the most part until recently. The bike started losing a lot of power and lately wouldn't idle correctly. I went through the bike and finally ended up noticing that the silencer and spark arrestor were almost completely clogged with an oily sludge (similar to one created around an oil pan due to leaking gasket) that was choking out the exhaust. I cleaned most of it out and reinstalled. It runs great now. Anyone else have any experience like this? I can only assume it has been run very rich for very long but it still confuses me. I wish I had pictures but my hands were covered in grease and oil at the time. Skin

So basically im wondering if aftermarket header pipe would cause a sound difference? I have a 19' 125sx with an aftermarket slip on but a stock header. That obviously made it sound completely different than stock but would an aftermarket header change the sound even more?

Just picked up a plated 2002 wr426 and love it but it is way too loud for the neighborhood. Attempting to ride to work at 6am without making too many enemies... The current exhaust is a "Zip-TY Signature Series by Flow". It has a spark arrestor and Ive repacked it but its nowhere near what i'm after, cant pass by without people looking to see who the A**hole is. Ive attempted to research the manufacturer in the hopes of finding a compatible insert but have come up short. https://ziptyracing.com/ Anyone know about this exhaust? and db killing solutions/ applications? Will the pro circuit quiet insert type product give me any negative db results? (see below link) https://shop.thumpertalk.com/pro-circuit-racing-intl-stainless-quiet-insert-4-x-1-replacement-part-794-9024.html My ultimate want is to find a FMF Q4 or at the least a FMF PowerCore to throw a silencer tip into if that would get me lower. I have scoured the internet in search of a fmf q4 but cant find anything... used or new. Can anyone point me in the right direction or have one laying around? My other option is to buy an old stock wr426/400 exhaust. Based upon looks, this welded shut chamber and pea shooter tip seems like it would be quiet but also incredibly restrictive. Ive found a few on ebay labeled "yanaha 5bf-10", one is listed as an oem yz pipe, the other is listed as an oem wr. Im figuring its a WR based on the other OEM yzs that ive seen. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-WR426F-2002-exhaust-muffler-silencer-baffle-5NG-10-2001/324274137805?hash=item4b803eaacd%3Ag%3AfykAAOSwVXNfRqIC&LH_ItemCondition=4 Any and all help is appreciated. Trying to make the essential work commute a little more fun during this covid nightmare.

I’m trying to sell an FMF Muffler and header but there’s no info or serial numbers. It did come off a 2006 CRF250R which means it should fit the 2006-2009 crf250r models. I need to know if Honda changed the outside header diameter where it goes into the engine block on newer models or not? I measured the OD at 44mm or 1 11/16 inches on the header. Any info at all would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi I have a crf230f and it smokes blue-ish white-ish. Really bad! I turn the choke on then start it and it sends out billows of smoke, and it doesn't stop until I start riding it. Once I'm riding the smoke reduces greatly but still smokes a little bit. After a while it completely clears. But when I hold the clutch or put it in neutral for a couple minutes it starts right back up again. Is it the piston rings or does the carb need an adjustment? Thanks for the help!!!

I have a 2018 Yamaha yz250f (fuel injection), the past couple of times I’ve taken it to the track I’ve noticed the exhaust makes a popping noise when slowing down/downshifting fast, it doesn’t happen every time and when it does it’s only a couple pops, I did some research but I couldn’t find much on if it’s bad or not. Is this something I should look into fixing or is it a normal thing that is just the engine slowing down rapidly. Would appreciate the feedback, Thanks!

So i recently wrapped part of the pipe on my ktm exc 450 quad were it was close to my boot, but anyways. i know that it can be a problem if you let water sit in the wrap because it can cause excessive rust in the pipe so i figured if i just warm it up after i get it wet or wash it the water will evaporate, but i was wondering what a good silicone seal would be to spray on it. In the directions it says to use aerosol spray on silicone but i didn't know if somebody had a certain brand or type they found works good to keep out water. (yes ik i am asking about a quad in dirt bike discussion, i figured there might be more relatable answers here) Thank you guys!!
