How is everybody doing. I just purchased a 2017 Husqvarna FE250 for 4,800Euros with only 200 hours on it as I just moved to Tuscany, Italy from the states.. I used to race motocross and quite frankly it was a different time when I used to race, mind you im only 27 but I used to ride a C125. These new amazing fuel injected sexy beasts are something im not used to... I just got back into "racing" as im now looking to compete in some local enduro and harescrambe events out here... I would greatly appreciate ANY advice on, tuning the bike, and beside getting the obvious header and exhaust pipe what other mods would anyone recommend to bang this baby up from 35(stock) horespower to about 40 or more..!? if that's even possible. thank you for the time to read this, I truly appreciate any feedback thanks again.

I'm a beginner. Just turned 41. I rode small bikes in my teenage years and haven't ridden since. I know the basics of riding. Now looking to buy a new street legal dirt bike to ride them few miles from my house to the trails. I'm in a dilemma which one to buy; 2018 KTM 250 EXC-F or 2018 Husqvarna FE 250. From your experience/knowledge: - What do you guys think which one would suit me better? - Which one has better stock parts/components? - What is different between them? - Which one has better resell value? - 250 EXC-F has Brembo and FE 250 Magura components. Which are better? When I search local (San Diego) ads for used bikes there are a lot of KTMs and not that many Huskys. I'm aware that they are both built buy KTM. Husky costs only $100 more. This review below compares 2017 model. But it doesn't help me much make the decision 🙂 http://www.dirtrider.com/ktm-250-exc-f-vs-husqvarna-fe-250-review Your opinion is appreciated. THANK YOU! Maxwell

Hi guys, Bought a new FE 250 final December and made a few rides with it but after 14 hours and 450 km the speedometer stopped working, turned off, and got wet inside. It never worked again, so the dealer replaced it with a new one, same as stock. The problem is that after only two more rides, 4 hours and 135 km it happened again. The speedometer got water inside again and stopped working. It shows the numbers but didn't start working and counting... It seems that the Portuguese importer of Husqvarna and their dealers are aware of this problem but I don't know if they will replace it again or how many times more. Here we are in the Winter, get some rain and low temperatures, about 4 or 5º Celsius, and every time I ride I wash the bike with water pressure but have very careful to not pour water directly to the speedometer or too close, but I have to wash the bike and this speedometer need to be waterproof, I'm I wrong? I'm not the only one with this problem, last month I knew a guy, with a TE 250, that has the same problem... Does anyone have the same (bad) experience? What can I do or what another speedometer should I ask my dealer? Thanks for any help 😉
