So I've been riding a crf230f road legal conversion done, but I need something a little more powerful, and able to ride longer distances on asphalt to get to a trail. I want something light weight and reliable, but also road worthy and inexpensive. Narrowed down to: Suzuki Drz400 BMW G650X challenge Dr650 (although too heavy) Xr650l (heard it lacks bottom end) Ktm, Husqvarna, ccm, husaberg etc are out of bounds (due to price or maintenance issues.) Hey whats up guys, got some questions about a problem im having with my 1988 fzr 1000. Problem: battery dosent hold a charge and once i ride it for a few minutes it dosent idle and i have to rev it to keep it running. Once i charge the battery it starts up and idles till i ride it for a few minutes then it drains the battery again then it wont idle again. Is this the fectifier ? From some research ive done i gues this is a common problem on this bike. Also would cause it to run rough at higher rpms?? Because frome 6k to 8k it studders a bit, not a bog but kinda of studders thru that rpm range. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
I’m in a pickle, I’m getting my plastics and tank repainted for my Suzuki GS250T, but my uncle who is painting the parts can’t do the pinstripes, so is it possible to take the pinstripes off the old plastics and reuse it. I can find them for the tank and the right side plastic tape set. It’s no longer available at the parts stores. Also does anyone know how accurate the paint color sensitive camera is that they use to find the paint color ?
