  1. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory racing’s Jarvis Earns a Hard-Fought Runner-Up at Erzberg’s Hare Scramble with Billy Bolt Seventh June 18, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Graham Jarvis has finished as runner-up to Alfredo Gomez at the 23rd running of the ErzbergRodeo Hare Scramble. Just over three minutes behind eventual winner Gomez, Jarvis rode yet another highly impressive race around the Iron Giant. Once again overcoming a cautious start and having to work his way passed countless riders during the faster, dustier sections of the course, once into the more technical sections he worked his way towards the front but ultimately ran out of time to challenge for the win. Once again showing himself to be one of the best ever ErzbergRodeo competitors, Graham Jarvis made a typically steady start before increasing his speed as the unforgiving Erzberg terrain intensified. Making up time on his rivals through the extended Karl’s Dinner section, the veteran racer worked his way towards the front, passing all but one of the early pace setters. Closing in to within just over three minutes of Gomez, Jarvis claimed a well-deserved runner-up result. For Billy Bolt getting to the start line at Erzberg was arguably a bigger challenge than finishing the race. Riding a bike just once during the three weeks prior to the event following a foot injury that required two operations, Bolt showed incredibly determination and focus to earn a highly creditable seventh place finish. Reigning AMA EnduroCross and FIM SuperEnduro champion Colton Haaker endured a challenging Erzberg 2017. Claiming an 11th place result, Haaker suffered with arm pump and a number of small crashes while charging hard during the early stages of the race. Battling his way through the hugely demanding Karl’s Dinner section, he then pushed as hard as he could to claim his first Erzberg finish in 11th. Graham Jarvis: “I’m happy with second. Hats off to Alfredo he was very strong, he rode a great race, and I just wasn’t able to get close enough to him early enough. I didn’t get a good start and then lost five or six positions when I messed up one of the hills. I was behind then in some of the single file wood sections. I had to fight my way back. But I felt pretty strong during the second half of the race. I pushed through Karl’s Dinner and made up some time there. I seemed to get a little energy back after Karl’s Dinner, things were pretty close to Gomez – if he’d have made a mistake I might have been able to catch him. I don’t have any complaints, it was a difficult as it always is but there’s not too much I’d change. The younger riders are getting more experienced so I’m pleased with second.” Billy Bolt: “It’s hard to be disappointed with a Hare Scramble finish, especially when I’ve only spent one-day on a bike in the last three weeks following my foot injury, but I feel like I could have delivered more. I felt like my speed was where it needed to be, but I just made one or two mistakes that were costly – against riders like Alfredo, Graham and Cody you just can’t afford to do that. My foot was sore, so I was trying to ride in a way that I didn’t use it too much. But when you’re trying to ride across Karl’s Dinner that’s not easy. I guess a seventh place result isn’t too bad. Congrats to Graham and the other podium finishers. I’ll be back stronger next year.” Colton Haaker: “It’s certainly better to finish this year, rather than not finish. I put a lot of work in this year because I really wanted to be one of the finishers. I thought I was in a pretty good position early on, but suffered with arm pump. I pushed crazy hard, passing riders, but had so many simple falls. I kind of came good after Karl’s Dinner, had a cool battle with a few riders and eventually got to the finish.” RESULTS – ERZBERG HARE SCRAMBLE 2017 1. Alfredo Gomez (KTM) 2:17:06 2. 2. CORONA, CA – May 22, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cody Webb took the Day 2 win on his way to second overall at the Red Bull Minas Riders, part of the Hard Enduro Series, nearly giving him the win over reigning series champ Graham Jarvis. As a rookie to the competition Webb was quick to learn what was needed to succeed, but with rain canceling the final days he had to settle for second overall. The “Hard Enduro” in Minas Gerais, Brazil lived up to its name with challenges spanning over 150 miles. From sketchy bridge crossings to cliff climbs, Webb’s skill was tested but in the end he excelled in the conditions. After getting a grip on the style of racing that makes up a Hard Enduro, he took the win on Day 2 and came within just two minutes of the leader before the race was called due to unrelenting rains in the area. “After the first day, I knew it was going to be an challenging second day,” said Webb. “It was probably some of the hardest terrain I’ve ever ridden. I was able pick up my race a lot in the second half and I pushed through to gained time on Graham (Jarvis). It’s pretty awesome to be right there with him. It would have been interesting to see how close I could have gotten to him if it didn’t get rained out.” Webb was wearing the SE Air Streamline Orange and Navy Jersey with the SE Air Pant, along with the Air Glove, all from the brand new 2018 collection. 4. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Extreme Enduro Star Tops the Podium in Spain November 5, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Graham Jarvis has claimed victory at the 2017 Hixpania Hard Enduro in northern Spain. Putting in one of his season’s best rides, Graham’s teammate Billy Bolt finished fourth overall. For the second edition of the Hixpania Hard Enduro, the racing was staged over three days. Friday saw competitors battle it out on a SuperEnduro-styled course in the town square of Aguilar de Campoo. Saturday delivered a 48-kilometre enduro loop around the nearby lake to be ridden three times. Sunday’s main event was a short 15-minute extreme loop, raced over a two-hour 30-minute duration. With points allocated per race, an overall classification of the three days determined this year’s Hixpania champion. Getting his event off to a slow start, Jarvis placed an unusual seventh in the Friday prologue. Picking up things to end up fourth on Saturday, Graham knew only victory on the third and final day would help his chances of winning this year’s Hixpania Hard Enduro. Last away in the Le Mans style start, he steadily began to pick riders off as the race progressed. By mid-distance he had climbed up to fourth and was beginning to find his pace. With two laps to go, Jarvis launched his attack for victory and managed to break away. With an impossible climb delivering the final sting in the tail for the race, he was the first to reach the top. In doing so he also took the overall event win. For Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt, the Hixpania Hard Enduro marked his final outdoor race of 2017 and arguably his best performance of the season. Fast from the off, 19-year-old Bolt battled hard in the Friday night prologue for victory. Challenging eventual winner Jonny Walker all the way, only a very small crash at the end cost him a shot at winning. Billy eventually slipped back to third in the prologue. Riding strong during Saturday’s race, Bolt enjoyed his fair share of the lead in the opening lap. A rear moose issue on lap two dropped him back, but fixing the issue at the service point, he regrouped strongly to claim fifth. For Sunday’s main event, Bolt took the holeshot and led lap one. Racing hard with Alfredo Gomez during the first hour and then also Jonny Walker during the latter half of the race, Bolt held his nerve on the final climb to take second on the day and secure a strong fourth overall. 5. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Rider Tops Podium in Belo Horizonte May 21, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – With the four-day event cut short after day two due to environmental concerns beyond the event organisers’ control, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Graham Jarvis has been declared the winner of the 2017 edition of Minas Riders having ended day two as the overall leader. Jarvis entered the second edition of the Brazilian race determined to start things off with a victory. Ending a rain-soaked prologue as runner-up, he then went on the attack when the race entered the mountains for the first off-road day. Pushing hard throughout the five-hour plus opening day of hard enduro racing, the Husqvarna rider claimed a three-minute margin of victory to establish an early lead. Maintaining his position at the head of the field with second on day one, Jarvis was holding a two-minute buffer over his nearest rival Cody Webb as the race entered its second half. But with days three and four cancelled, Jarvis unexpectedly found himself as the early winner of the 2017 edition of the Brazilian Hard Enduro Rally. With victory in Brazil, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider now looks to add one more victory to his 2017 campaign at Austria’s ErzbergRodeo in June. 6. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Star battles Through All-New Format Hell’s Gate to Finish Second February 11, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Graham Jarvis has earned a strong second place at the 2018 Hell’s Gate extreme enduro. With an all-new format for this year, concluding in a 20-minute sprint race, the event posed a fresh challenge for the five-time winner. For the first time ever, the event kicked off with a Prologue race on the Friday night. Designed to set the starting order for Saturday’s race, the Prologue was an endurocross style event held close to the hosting Il Ciocco Hotel. Although it provided a great spectacle for the fans, the race results were eventually scrapped due to issues with the course. Saturday’s heat race went well for Jarvis. An expert at managing his pace, the Brit did exactly what he had to do over the five-laps, finishing fourth aboard his Husqvarna FE 250 in the cold conditions of the Tuscan hills. The position gave him a good start for the night race, which saw riders set off at 3.30pm for a tough three-hour multi-lap event. At the conclusion of the night race, the top-10 riders were given a 15-minute break before contesting the new 20-minute endurocross in the arena area of the venue. In freezing conditions, the riders fought bar-to-bar in front of the record-crowd of spectators to decide the overall winner. With the final results calculated on the sum of the previous legs, Jarvis was announced as runner-up, just a few minutes behind eventual winner Mario Roman. Graham Jarvis: “I really enjoyed the racing today, I always do here at Hell’s Gate. It’s been a tough couple of days and I’m still getting used to riding the 4-stroke, but the bike has been absolutely faultless over the entire weekend. It has been pretty close between the top-four all day and it’s all come down to the final 20-minute race off. It would have been nice to take my sixth win at the event, but I’m happy with second.” Results – Hells Gate 2018 1. Mario Roman (Sherco) 3:06:03 2. Graham Jarvis (Husqvarna) 3:08:57 3. 8. January 22, 2018 Motor Sports Newswire Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Star Places as Runner-Up at French Hard Enduro January 22, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – As defending champion of the Alèstrêm Hard Enduro in France, Graham Jarvis was hungry to secure victory at the fourth edition of the race. Frustratingly, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider damaged his clutch while challenging for the lead during Sunday’s main race, forcing him to pit for repairs before charging back up the leaderboard to earn a runner-up result. Getting his participation in the two-day event off to a strong start, Jarvis put in an impressive ride in the Saturday night SuperEnduro styled prologue to finish second on his TE300i. Knowing Sunday’s three-lap, 150-kilometre long main race would be a tough one, Graham was happy to let close rivals Mario Roman and Wade Young lead during laps one and two, prior to the tougher sections on lap three. But in damaging his clutch hose on a branch at the end of lap two, Jarvis was left without a functioning clutch just as he was about to begin the crucial final lap. Rapid repairs in the pits by Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing mechanic Damien Butler saw Jarvis get going again in fourth, albeit over 10 minutes behind the leaders. Putting everything into the final lap, Jarvis managed to fight his way back to second but couldn’t make a challenge for the win, settling for a hard-fought runner-up result. Graham Jarvis: “Congratulations to Mario he rode great and I was looking forward to battling with him on the final lap. Unfortunately, my clutch got damaged and I thought my race was over but somehow Damien fixed it in a couple of minutes. That saved my race for sure. To be honest at that stage I thought finishing on the podium would be a big ask but I was feeling really good on the TE300i, and riding really good. The bike was performing great on the hardest sections and quite quickly I managed to make my way into third, with about three-quarters of a lap to go I was in second. But Mario was just too far ahead. Despite giving it everything I had to settle for the runner-up result.” Results – Alèstrêm Hard Enduro 2018 1. Mario Roman (Sherco) 2. Graham Jarvis (Husqvarna) 3. Wade Young (Sherco) 4. Travis Teasdale (Beta)
