  1. Hello! I have a 2007 wr450f, great bike. Recently noticed the fork seals were leaking pretty bad. I ride trails and do jumps. Nothing too big. Maybe 25” at the most. Want to see about stiffening the suspension while I’m in there. I’m 175 with gear. what springs are good what’s the best quality fork oil, and is tightening the rear shock going to cut it or should I grab a new rear shock spring? Also wondering if anyone jumps their WR and if they have made any helpful modifications. Any help is appreciated! Thanks🤙
  2. Hi all, I'm usually a woods rider so I'm not the greatest at track. However, I take it upon myself to do a few laps on the mx track during each ride. I used to be able to ride the track no problem, could send all but 1 jump. However, My track screwed up one nice jump and turned it into a insane kicker. The jump is pretty decent size and requires mid-high rpm third gear to clear. My track turned the lip into a crazy kicker and I've been doing endo after endo. Each time I thought I saw Jesus looking into my eyes. After that I decided to swallow my pride and go to the woods instead of risk getting injured. Anyways, to the main point does anyone know how to handle these kickers? I think I had an idea, I know if you blip the throttle before the rear goes of the jump face your front tends to go high. So if I'm correct If I purposely blipped the throttle going of the kicker would this counteract the kicker making my bike almost even in the air after the jump?
  3. Hey everyone looking for ideas for my rocker kill switch on my fe 350. i got a rocker kill switch on the throttle side of my handle bar and I find when I’m hopping big logs or get caught up on something I’m going over, I find my leg hits the kill switch and kills the bike I rotated it up a bit helped but I wanted to see if anyone else had this little problem and what they did to resolve it.
  4. I’m a DIY’fer all the way. But I’m wondering if I can change my Factory Connection springs (front: from .48 to .50, rear: from 6 to 6.7) on my 2012 YZ250 without changing other parts (other than obviously the seals for the forks) and if so what parts and where to buy them? There’s only a few parts available in the FC site that I could find. I already ordered my springs. What other type DIY service can be done? Any advice/guidance will be greatly appreciated! #yz250 #factoryconnection #doityourself #suspension #onabudget #frontforks #rearshock #spring #kyb
  5. Hello friends, I thoroughly enjoy watching my boys progress in their riding skills on 2 wheels. It's fun to see them grow in confidence...and just be outside having a good time. I love that we can do this together. Here's a short video of some highlights from this past Saturday.
  6. Hey guys, I am a rider who is trying to get better and I find that whenever I jump, my feet come off the pegs. I have read other posts that say you need to squeeze with your legs or knees to keep yourself attached to the bike. I get that but what doesn't make sense to me is that I see other riders who jump and they take like one foot off the pegs so they can't be squeezing the bike right? This issue is making me scared to jump and I would love your guys' input. So squeeze or not to squeeze?
  7. Hello everyone. I feel like I've been very back and forth with this topic and I'm trying to get a dedicated answer for it. Essentially I am a novice at riding, I only have been doing it for 1/2 a year and have been practicing jumping a lot. Everything for jumping seems very straight forward except for gas sequence for the landing. These are the three sequences I have heard of: 1.Gas it the second bike touches the ground (what I originally did for jumping) 2.Gas it in the air then let off gas for landing 3.Gas it before landing and keep gassing for the landing and let off when you want. I've talked to a lot of people and the answers are very mixed. The only thing I've really figured out is the first sequence is wrong because you don't really get time to get your rear wheel spinning and it'll send your wrist to heaven with one wrong move. I plan to ride this Friday, my second ride of the spring and plan to completely rework my jumping technique for the better of me. If anybody could give me advice on what I should do or what they do that would be great! 🙂
  8. Hi everyone. I'm still pretty new and goony too riding, and I don't even halve a full year of being in the game behind me. I've started hitting jumps a while ago and for this new season I've promised myself to hit some of the big jumps at my track. So here comes my question. I've been practicing mid air adjustment technique and when I land I always give it gas as I land, so the second I land I gas it. However, I noticed that this has been causing a lot of whisky throttle. Is this incorrect and am I suppose to gas it before landing or am I doing it right and just weak.🙃 I got into the habit as I was thought that giving it gas before you land stops your suspension from wanting to kick back so much and makes landing a whole lot easier, was I taught wrong?

  10. Having issues with bog on my crf150rb when jumping only. By the time I hit the ground there is no power. It would probably die if the forward momentum didn’t help restart the engine. I bought the bike second hand and had to fix many parts on the carb. When on the ground in flat areas it runs really well. Wondering if anyone else here has had this issue. Maybe I’m missing a part on the carb, or it needs a rebuild. Perhaps better settings? Maybe fuel flow issues. Also the vacuum tubes that come out of the head of the engine have been damaged by the exhaust, could this be the culprit? I’m not sure what they do? Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks Paul Crf150rb
