  1. I have a 1995 kx80 and have a Pro Circuit racing pipe and 304 silencer on it. The bike is too loud for where I ride. I want to know if I could put a Fmf slip on on my dirtbike. I dont need a exact fit but I need something. My Kx80 hit 120 Db when I was revving it up and 100 from 5 feet away idling. Can some on please help me.

  3. Just replaced the stator, coil and plug. Now my 12y/o can’t start it. I can start it in one kick but he no longer can. Seems like there’s more compression now and it’s occasionally backfiring or kicking back when starting. Timing off with the new stator? I put an aftermarket stator on it and it didn’t have timing marks so had to just approximate. Would’ve gone with an oem stator but they were backordered from Kawasaki until late June.
  4. Hi guys, this is my 1995 Kawasaki KX250 which I rebuilt from the ground up, it took almost 2 months to finish. I have a lot of videos on the channel documenting the rebuild in detail, showing all the work and parts. This work I did in 2 months to rebuild some parts, change the new other. Some parts reuse because still good condition, front forks and rear suspension I've just rebuild 6 months ago so no need do any more. Let's check it out of my work.   5. So the bike runs alittle rough right now I’m not sure what’s wrong with it the carb may need rebuilt because it has a hard time at idle . I’ve been told it’s my head gasket but there’s no white smoke coming from the exhaust so I’m not sure if it’s just starting to go bad or what .Does anyone know what this is ? Thanks in advance for the Help
  6. So I got a 2018 Klx110l. It just has a exhaust on it. It’s about 40 degrees out and it bogs out whenever I nail the throttle.
  7. I got a question. I own a 2016 KX 85. It ran AMAZING after it first bought it used and was in beautiful condition and I picked it up for only 2500. I was riding when all of a sudden it started bogging down right before the power band.i don’t think it’s jetting because the bogging just turned on like a switch and it was running perfect before it. The bike was like that for a month. Apparently the previous owner never oiled the filter so it was dry as a rock and was falling apart and got sucked into to the intake so I’m guessing my power valve is gummed up or stuck close or open. I was riding one day with the bog issue and about 35 minutes of riding I shut it off to take a break. Came back 20 minutes later and it would not start.I changed the spark plug, cleaned out the carb,checked the reeds,and tried hill starting it but nothing. When ever I try to hill start it I can hear it trying to crank and It starts for like half a second but then dies.I don’t remember if I left the fuel petcock on but what I’m guessing is that I flooded the engine and tried starting which messed up my electronics.The reason why I think I flooded the Engine is because when I took off the reeds the intake manifold and reed were soaked in gas.I heard that starting the engine while flooded can mess with a woodruff key or your CDI or something. There is spark coming from the plug though.And yes I mix the gas with oil at 32:1 cause I’m in the pipe all the time.This is my first time owning a 2 stroke.Any answers or tips.

Came back 20 minutes later and it would not start.I changed the spark plug, cleaned out the carb,checked the reeds,and tried hill starting it but nothing .When ever I try to hill start it I can hear it trying to crank and It starts for like half a second but then dies.There is spark coming from the plug though.I took the cylinder off and the piston and cylinder are &%$#@!ed.The piston rings were stuck in the grooves and I had to use pliers and a screwdriver to get it out.There was a ton of blow-by and the cylinder was scored.I bought a new piston already but how can I fix my cylinder.Im thinking of getting it repaired and replayed by either millennium,PowerSeal USA, or usnicom.This is my first time owning a 2 stroke.Any answers or tips.
  9. I’m looking for a pit bike and for some reason I am drawn to the klx110. I found an 07 that is missing the rear fender and idk how beat it is but what do you think it is worth? He has it listed for $1,450. In 07, the msrp was only $1,699 so I can’t se it being worth too much.

  11. Hey all, I just got myself a 1994 KDX200 as a bit of a project. The bike runs, but needs work. (When do they not!) I'd like to know the amount of interchangeability between the E gen (mine) and the H, because there are a lot more parts available for the H. Specifically with the radiators and their tubing, mine are shot. -Leo

  14. Hi All, Does anyone see any downsides to buying a early 2000's 2 stroke ? Specifically 2003-2006 KX 250s. Im looking at some 250s but wondering how hard they are to get rebuilt if/when that time comes. These bikes are around the $2500 mark , so its enough coin for me to want to make sure the bike is not dead win it blows. Thanks!
  15. Need some help with this one. My kickstart shaft keeps rubbing on the side case and scraping off little flakes of it. Cleaned it up and set it in properly (I believe) but not sure why the gear isn’t staying still seems to wobble a bit. Any help is appreciated.

  18. So here's the problem my 2006 KX 100 will only get one solid spark when I press the kill swich and kick it over. After that I get no spark.Every time I let go and press the kill swich again I get one single spark. Any ideas??? 🤔

I’m a 5’10” 130lb 16 year old and I want to get into dirt biking I currently have an atv but want to switch over, I have no idea what size or type of dirt bike to buy, I most likely won’t ever be riding track and mostly trails in northern Ontario and single track. I will just be riding it playfully and not racing. I’ve been looking at a rebuilt 2008 Kawasaki 250F not sure if thsi will be too big or not? My budget is hopefully under 4000$ Cad. Any suggestions please

  21. Hey all, I know there has probably been a ton of posts here about aftermarket for the klx250 but even after all the research I'm still a bit confused. I'm very very new to the bike world. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me the most important things to do and in what order. I would like to have it jetted and a new exhaust. Not sure which ones to buy or how to install, but pretty sure I'd like this to get more out of the bike and definitely get a deeper sound than the stock exhaust (I have an aftermarket exhaust on my dr200 and its funny how much better it sounds than my new klx250 lol!). So basically I just need more clear instructions on what exactly to buy. Thanks much.

  24. Ok so I just purchased a new cylinder jug and a new top end. And now I’m having trouble with my powervalve. The first pic is the only way I can get it and the second pic is how it’s supposed to be. Will it be possible to fix without having to remove the cylinder jug? Also I just realized that my old shaft bearing is still in my old cylinder jug, any way to get out? Thanks🙏
