Alright so I have a 1999 ke 100. i bought it as a project for $450 in April. So I have done PLENTY of stuff to it and it’s been a pretty crazy project. First off I replaced the blinkers because they were sun dried and cracked and rusted so I replaced them soldered the connections and put a new battery in and the head light works but still no luck with blinkers... I don’t have a clue what’s wrong with em any help appreciated with that. And then when I got it it needed a carb clean and that’s it. Wellllllllll that was supposedly it. 60 psi of compression🙄 I also had spark. So it started after a carb clean but it revved super high so it turned out to be a head gasket vacuum leak. So I decided to try to perform my first top end so I tore It down and piston was decent, the rings were bad. As I was installing them They were way too big so I filed em down till they fit and boom! Got it all back together just fine. Today I did some more tinkering and umm no spark????? AND AND 30 PSI OF COMPRESSION 😠 y’all I need help. I think my ring clearance is off so do any of y’all have a virtual copy of the manual or know the specs of ring gap clearance. If you do have a virtual copy please send it to me at 615 715 5530. Hi internet I have a new KE100B year 2000 with a mikuni V22? In any case the guy I bought it from swore up and down that he had the best mechanic this side of the Mississippi go through the carb and clean it... Therefore the very first thing I did when I got home was go straight to the carb and found what appeared to be rotten cottage cheese in the float bowl. Now I've soaked it in simple green, cleaned scraped and blew out every single passage. It now runs...like shit. Whenever I put the choke on (up position) it revs to the moon as if I was at 3/4 throttle or so. I was able to get a couple of revs in and after a while it decided it just wanted to sputter and die when I touched the throttle. Did I miss one of the passageways? I triple checked the Pilot, main, and both orifices that they screw into along with any and all other passages. There are two other passages that I'm concerned about on the inside body of the carb that were plugged pretty good with a white crusty substance, these passages appeared to go nowhere. These passages are two large holes opposite each other inside the float chamber to the left and right of the main jet. One more note, the needle is not adjustable and I'm 1.5 turns out, presumably stock jets. Whach yall think?

Hey! I have seen similar but not the same at allproblems on here so I decided to ask about my own! So I have been screwing with my fun little dirt bike for a bit over a week, and found problems like crank seals, piston and rings, etc etc etc etc etc ya know how it goes! And after I do my right side crank seal I am putting it back together and I try to move the kickstart....STUCK! So safe to say I had a mental breakdown haha. But after tinkering I got it to move just fine again-or so I thought. Now it feels like it used to but I don’t even have a spark plug in so it should have little to no resistance.... maybe rope got rapped around the crank when I did the rope in the spark plug hole to stop the main pinion nut from moving metal shaving somewhere? But I took the cylinder off and same result. So either clutch or crank? idk honestly. Instead of jumping to conclusions like I had originally I decided to ask the pros!!! What are y’all thinking???? Any and all help appreciated.
