i have a 2004 200sx with i believe the 39mm carb. i need a r1469g needle and i currently have a r1468g. (need to lean the low end) what are some good alternatives to the r1469 if i don’t want to spend $35 and wait weeks to get it from europe? i’ve considered the sudco cek and cel but not sure which would be better (i need low end to lean out) the long story: my current issues with my jetting are RICH RICH low end. when it gets up top it’s okay could maybe be a bit better but my low end is screwed for now. it’s jetted by previous owner for 60-80degrees fahrenheit a few hundred ft abs. i am now riding at 5000-8000ft from 50-80degrees and need totally different jetting. just bought a 6.5 slide which should make a big difference from the 5.5 but i would like to further improve with the needle change. i’ve went from a 45 pilot to a 35 with little to no change. it will now kick start when cold but will not at all once warm and then i need to bump it. my idle and air screw don’t do ANYTHING at the moment. i might try a size 20 or so pilot tomorrow but that’s definitely not a long term solution for me. i doubt that will even work at this point. i am new to this but i’ve been reading a lot ab jetting over the past 2 months and feel like i have a decent understanding of the pure information, just need the experience to start improving/learning more. any tips are much appreciated.

I rebuilt the slave cylinder and reverse blead it. Works for for 5-10 clutch lever pulls then looses pressure. So I removed the slave cylinder and the plunger was pushed to far out of slave cylinder allowing fluid to pass the o-ring in turn releasing the pressure of hydraulic clutch. Why would the plunger be moving so far out of slave cylinder???

Hye guys. I recently found a clean rolling chassis for a 2004 200sx. It has everything excepy for the engine for 600 dollars. I am wondering what engines would fit into the bike as I cannot find a 200 engine. I would put any engine in it. thanks in advance.

Hey guys im in a pickle. So i little info first. I am 14 5'9'' 125lbs and have former trials experience. I have been riding dirt bikes since i was five and always loved it but rode timid Honda crfs until about 4 years ago when i bought a 250 trials bike and rode that up to this year were i sold it in hopes of getting my first 2 stroke enduro bike. I am currently riding a little crf150f just for the time being until i get a new bike. I ride mostly tight single track with some very large hill climes and an enduroX track. Soooo.... I have been looking at a ktm 150xcw for quite sometime but it was a few weeks ago when i was told to get a 200xcw around the 2012 era because it would have more grunt and would lift the front easier over large logs and concrete barriers. But i really dont know what to do. You see 200s are quite rare up here in Alberta Canada and if they do show up they are usually beat to crap which is why i have liked the 150 because we have lots here like this one https://www.kijiji.ca/v-dirt-bikes-motocross/edmonton/2017-ktm-xcw-for-sale/1474480403 remember its in Canadian dollars. So i guess what i would like to know is what would be better? Just to get something like this 150xcw or wait and see if i can find a decent 200xcw. Also what would work better for the type of riding i do? And what are some of the problems the 2017 era 150s have and what problems do the 200xcws have? Also power wise how would the 200xcw compare to the 150xcw? And would the 2017 150xcw have enough grunt and snap to do the type of riding i do? Any information would be highly appreciated.

Recently, I put my carb back on my bike after adjusting the float and jets and I'm having some problems. I couldn't get the bike started for the life of me and after a little while, it started pouring gas out of the vent hoses. Can someone diagnose my situation?

I was in the process of leaning my jetting when someone told me that if the floats not adjusted to spec it could give the impression that the bikes running too rich. Can someone expand on this? What are some ways too adjust your float? What are the specs for a float in a 2002 ktm200exc?

Hey I'm 14 and am looking to buy a new quad/bike. I am selling my yz85 currently I'll tell you what bikes I have owned/ rode crf50-xr80-yz144-yz85 kfx50-yamaha blaster-raptor80 and I've riden Polaris 500's and they seem pretty sweet . The riding near my house is, a bog, single track, power lines, mud and sand. I feel like a atv would be better for mud and the rooty trails but I love the 75+ mph speed from bike and being able to jump/throw them around. Some bikes/ quad I've been looking at, keep in mind I have about 1500-2000 crf250x all brand 250f's raptor 700 400ex 300ex another blaster? Please help me with suggestions. I'm 120 and 5'5 and I feel comfortable on a 250f I've riden a few. Thanks
