Hi, working on an 84 PE full floater, which needs a rear shock to really go off road. Looked everywhere and there’s nothing out there. Does anyone know if an RM one will fit? If so what year and model?? cheers in advance Waz

I need mechanical advice on a 1994 YZ 250 I had bought the bike cheap from some guy and the bike ran but was rough smoked a lot but still ran I had purchased the bike as a project I compleatly got rid of the old carburetor and put a brand new Kehin airstriker carb with boysen power reeds. I tore down the top end knowing it was going to need a rebuild put a new pro-X piston, rings and needle bearing. I replaced all gaskets with a mood racing gasket set. I threw the bike back togeather and it did not start thinking it was an electrical problem because the spark was week I replaced the stator, ignition coil, and the cdi box and switch put it back togeather and still did not want to start with fresh gas the spark plug it wet with gas it has great spark now and a lot of compression I’m stuck anyone have a idea?

Hi all, need to flush out a thirty yr old tank that’s got propably thirty years of grit. Not sure what to use; scared of separating oil as it’s a two stroke.

My 1991 Yamaha Yz125 has been standing for 30 years and the aluminium on the front suspension has started to pop and peel away and I would like to know what the best replacement would be.

I have a 1980 xr80 that is starting to freeze up on me ................................. after being ridden for about a month with out a drop of oil. I have a spare bottom end (same year) but not a spare top end. My plan is to hopefully take the old top end and put it on my spare bottom. while I have it all torn apart is there any parts from a different model year that would be interchangeable? also is there OEM parts from a different year or bike that could be swapped on for a performance gain?

im a 13 year old girl (turning 14 in a couple of days). Since i was 10, i have had an interest in motocross so a couple of months ago i decided that it was time to try it. About 2 1/2 weeks ago me and my dad got a deal with a motocross club close to where we live. I had 30 minutes to get instructions and to ride. After 10 seconds on the bike i loved it. I took all the things the instructor told me in, and enjoyed my 30 minutes on the bike. After the 30 minutes - that became to 45 because of how much fun i had, the instructor told me that he was impressed, and that i am already horse steps ahead of the other (few) girls in the club. On that short amount of time i learned all the basics. Gear, clutch, brack and i nailed it all (okay a little to much confidense ;-)). my top speed was 18.5 MPH on a 85cc in 2 gear. My question(s) is: -Am i to old to start? -Do i have time enough to become a pro? I know its hard to answer, but i have NO idea if i still have time enough to become a pro. I think my advantages are that: -Im a girl (so the competition isn´t just as hard?) -I have a lot parent support. My dad is totally ready to go out and buy a dirt bike, and to help me learn how to fix it and all that mechanic stuff. -I am fearless. Im "not carefull" on the track. Its just as fast, as high, and so "technic perfect" as possible. -from i was 8-11 i rode the horse (i feel like it helped my body position). I am one of those "if i want it, il get it persons", so to get in shape for the season 2018 im training fitness 3 times a week, shape and strength. I will be able to start riding in march. until April i will only ride 1 time a week. From April to August i will ride 3-4 times a week for four hours each time, and probably go to a summer motorcross camp. From August to march i can only ride 2-4 times a month. And thats my "year circel" :-). So do you think that i have a chance of becoming a pro in my 16-20 years old years?. If i keep on training hard, having the economy, and really wanting it?. Im planning to buy a Honda cr80 1981 this tuesday, but im a bit worried because its an old bike, if needed i can replace the parts but i live in holland so its pretty hard to get parts for a honda of 1981. so my question was can i use newer parts on this honda, so if something is not good i can replace it with newer parts that are easier to get. Im also buying this honda for 500 euro (keep in mind i live in holland), do you guys think its an overpay or not? my budget is 500 euro's. Thanks!
