I know this topic has been discussed in the past, but I have not found any options available for the new 2018 bikes. I live and work for a new Beta Dealer (Auburn Extreme Powersports) in California, and we are having a difficult time mapping the RR-S bikes for full FMF exhausts. We have tried contacting Beta Support several times for this issue to no avail, and we typically are given the runaround when transferring to techs and secretaries. From what we can gather, the FMF flash is designed for the RR bikes, but not the street-legal counterparts. Every time we try to install the FMF map onto an RR-S errors occur, and the programmer screen goes virtually blank. We have heard through the grapevine that some are using the RR maps on the RR-S with success, but we have yet to try it, even on our own bikes for fear that it will permanently erase or damage the CDI. Any and all help or suggestions regarding this topic would surely be appreciated! Thanks, Ben.
hey everyone i have my power commander 5 coming and i was wondering if anyone had any custom tune maps. As of this date there are 3 maps on the power commander website for the 2017 Fe 350. one for stock bikes, one with fmf 4.1 and one with a full fmf exhaust. After de smogging, un corking, and pulling the reeds id really like to use the best map possible to make the bike the best air fuel ratio. After multiple failed attempts to get my ecu mapped the PCV was my next best option as I couldnt justify spending that kind of money on the vortex. And by the way theres an online site called fuel moto that sells pcv for $299 which is a great price. They only have the FE501 model but its the same part number as the 350 and 450 so they are interchangeable. Anyway back to the original post, anyone have any additional maps or does anyone have a similar setup as me and is using one of the pcv made maps?

I'm a Mechanical Engineer researching modifications for a 2015 CRF250L, I have plenty of information from manufacturers but I'm particularly interested in owners experience and results for various mods. Just wondering about opinions on the best EFI controllers for the CRF250L (2013-2016), primarily on the stock bike (but modded bike info also welcomed) ie. actual results rather than manufacturer claims. How is fuel economy affected? Increases/losses in power? Too rich A/F ratio? etc............ Also, if possible the best settings for each mode used. From what I've read on TT, an EFI controller provides better results when working alongside air intake mods, aftermarket exhausts, etc. but feel free to correct me EJK seem to be a popular brand but I'm aware there are a number of others. Any information or opinions is greatly appreciated. MV
