Hey I am about to purchase a 2003 Honda CRF230 and want to replace the seat. Was trying to find out if the seat cover from other year models would fit the '03. Is it possible also to put a headlight on to this bike? I am seeing different kits you can purchase, but just want to make sure it will have a stock headlight connector? Any advice appreciated!

Hello all! I'm getting tired of replacing the duct tape on my winter commuter. Am more of a function-guy rather than form, but this looks just too bad. After some 30 years (it's a 1988 NX650) the nylon cover is cracked as well as discoloured and worn. Can you replace the cover as a DIY-project at all? I've never done anything like this before. Are there any gotchas' when doing a seat cover replacement? Anything I should know? I could of course leave it to a professional, but this is a cheap bike. I couldn't possibly justify a USD 200-400 job on this beater.

I recently got a tall seat from Ktm that has 20 or 25 mm height over the standard one, i wanted to change the standard cover as it is very slippery, looking for a good cover and also a cover that will have enough material to cover the whole seats. Ktm told me their covers will not fit a tall seat as they are “ very tight “ . -
Hi all I need to replace my seat cover and probably foam but what tools do I need? I have some staple guns but I don’t think their man enough? What does everyone use? Any tips and tricks?
