Hey there dudes and dudettes, Got me a pw80 to mess around with and I'm having a problem with it. It idles fine, runs in first pretty decent but as soon as it's shifted into 2nd the acceleration drops. It feels like I have a one speed bike. Any ideas what it could be? I have already done the clutch mod, i'm running 6 ball bearings instead of the standard 12. Thanks!
Ive been looking for a decent ride for a while now, Im a large guy and i want something that can carry me and another person and still have power to go fast. im looking for something that is at least 400cc but i would prefer something 500 or larger. i like semi autos or manuals and not a big faan of automatic. anyhtng thats in god condition is fine. Im trying to find something that is in about the 1000-1300 dollar range. i know its a bit of a strech haha but im from new york and i live around glens falls. if anybody finds anything let me know. Thanks!
what should i consider before buying a used recluse clutch !? in https://rekluse.com/ you can find the product which is suitable for your bike model and then looked for the same model used one !? i have found a second hand rekluse clutch ( z-start pro ) which has been used on a 2009 suzuki rmz450 . what should i check before buying and installing it on my bike (2011 yz450f) . is it just ok to take it out from another bike and do the clutch spring adjustment and use it on my bike !? Or they are designed specifically for each manufacture !? ?
Hello. Looking to get a pit bike. Originally I was looking at a 85 2stroke but I hear they are a lot of work to maintain. Plus pre 2002 are the only greenstickered 2strokes in ca. Tell me I’m wrong, I’d love a 2stroke. So I thought I was settled on the klx110l, but then I saw that a lot of people jump the regular 110. I’ve also heard the 110l is harder to work on? I think clutch would be fun to really learn tight corners and wheelies. Clutch would also be nice to teach friends, but no clutch would be even easier for the lady. Do most pit bike races have clutch separate classes? someone also recommended pitster pro, but are China bikes reliable? Any how, I’m open to different brands and basically all recommendations. Any advice at all is much appreciated. thank you, Cole
