Want to plate a '16 xcfw 350 with low profile lighting, (single track), but obviously bright enough to be seen on the road. Was gonna just order a Sicass kit; but I thought it might be best to ask whether piecing it together is better. Since the bike does not have handguards I've been thinking of using HDB guards with switches in top mount for headlight, and whatever. Thoughts? My one major electrical experience is putting a dash and eastern beaver fuse box on my vstrom - aux lighting, heated grips, etc. Thanks, John
I'll start with an ABC, 123 mod for keeping your registration & insurance paperwork under the seat securely... Heavy duty, wet or dirty Velcro. Clean seat pan and KTM documents pouch with some rubbing alcohol to get good schticktion. Voila! This Velcro is tough (strong) and I really don't even have to separate the bag from the seat to get to my documents... not that I get pulled over a lot.
