Curious if anyone is having the same issue on their subframe. This is on a 300 with less than 10 hours on it. I was in the process of installing all new plastic. The side panels/airbox on this 16' is all one piece. The aluminum is getting worn away on both sides where the plastic touches the subframe. I am assume they used the softest lightest aluminum for weight, however I'm alarmed at how deep these grooves are with only a few hours on the bike. Also it looks like I will need to transfer over everything to the new plastic and even drill a hole for the rubber kickstand holder since there isn't one drilled on this new Acerbis kit. Anyone with experience with this? I see the rivets for the airbox holder are available along with all the other needed parts, but I'm curious how to install them with a rivet gun. My guess is it's going to be hard to get the rivet installed with the plastic in the way. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Today I watched my friend do a wheelie, and go backwards on his 2018 TE 300 with maybe 20 hours on it. This wasn’t a long high speed wheelie, maybe 10 foot long in 2 or 3rd gear. The back of the bike got destroyed..... smashed into pieces with ease.... shattered, along with bending the muffler pretty good. I’ve seen people crash from hitting back fender on wheelies plenty of times and bikes roll end to end in crashes with only bending the subframe if that. ..... was pretty scary to see this thing fly apart so easily from what was a pretty minor crash. I just got a 2018 TX 300 a few months back and I’m wondering if this is what I have to look forward to when I crash!!?? To top it off these subframes aren’t cheap .... at all. For the 3 main parts of the subframe it’s $375 .... at least from Rocky Mountain. And that’s no bolts included .... if you crash bad enough to break one part of it I would imagine your going to break all 3 pieces ...... $375 .... crazy ....

Hey guys hoping you can help me here. I drove to pick up a bike I was told was a '92, when I got there I determined it must be a 1990 because the way the "subframe" is all out of whack for the rear fender and side plates. I bought the bike anyway because (I drove 8hrs and burned a lot of gas..) and the engine and frame are in pretty good shape. The whole reason for purchasing the bike was to do a '92 Bradshaw replica. I'm wondering if I will have to get the '92 exhaust in order for that to work and what the difference is? From 90 to 91 to 92 seems to be different exhausts every year, is it just the mounting tabs? Also does anyone know the swingarm compatibility? Airbox compatibility? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

Last year I bought a yz 125 that was supposed to be an 04 but when I got home I checked the serial number and it was an 01 it has the 6 speed motor in it but a silver 03 subframe in it. The seat on it is i belive a 01 and it dosnt fit right. I have it bolted to the fender because the mounts on the seat are too far back to be mounted on the subframe. My friend has an 06 yz 125 and I put his seat on and it still sticks back too far to be bolted in to the subframe. Would an 03 seat fit or do I have to get a 01 subframe?

Hey I got a 2000 KX250 and the subframe is absolutely annihilated and needs to be replaced. Finding one in my area has been a pain and online haven’t had any better luck. Is there another bike that’s compatible that I could use or an aftermarket one I could get? Anything helps at this point

I am completely rebuilding a 2002 YZ125 so I can get back into racing! The bike is in need of a new subframe but I have had no luck finding an affordable one on eBay or Facebook. I believe that any 2002+ YZ125/250 subframe will fit. Please message me with any options! Thanks.NO VALUE SPECIFIED

I've got a DRZ400E that's street legal and I've been trying to get a drz400s subframe so I can load the back with gear for some longer trips. Does anyone have one they'd be willing to sell or know where to get one? I don't see any on eBay for a reasonable price. Thanks in advance!

Hey there. Was wondering if a subframe or gas tank from an 02 - 20 yz125 would fit or mount up (With or without brackets) on an 03 - 05 Yz250f? Not expecting a yes but just wanted to put the question out there. And yes, I do know that the front fender and plate can go on with some new holes.
