  1. I picked up a pretty roached out yz95 for my kid. Replaced almost everything, rebuilt motor, boingers, brake lines all that jazz. I'm looking for some baseline jettings settings or recommendations. Last time I took him out riding, we went to a play pit area in central oregon. He could ride for about 20 mins and plug would foul? I'd pull the plug, and it wasn't covered in oil like I would expect. (I've been fuel injected myself since 2011 so kinda out of touch with the carbs.) Wasn't light brown though either like it was too lean. I'd throw a new plug in and it would start right up. Gonna pull the jets tonight and see what's in there. But just looking for some baseline settings or recommendations if anyone has any. TIA
  2. Im 14 years old and a i race, a 2018 kx100 ive had it for two years now and its time for a new cylinder. As ive gotten faster, ive noticed ive been needing a bit more power since i scream it in any gear. I also Just got a 2018 ktm 150 which has so much more power and im never close to touching the powerband on it :) . I was looking at the 112 kit so i could milk it for one more season but i have a few questions. And Yes My kx has a lot of "go fast" parts on it already (a Full fmf pipe and silencer, carbon reeds, Different jettings, Different carb spacer, wiseco piston, hinson clutch, over sized radiators, And a lot more) Here're the questions -will i need to run race gas -is it any faster -What's the best place to do it -How reliable will it be -Will it be too much for the bike? And If you have one put some weak points about the bike and some Good things about it. (The picture of it is Old) Thanks
  3. I was wanting to know if I should run race fuel in my ktm 105sx supermini. it is the motor kit from ktm, I currently run 91 octane fuel (ethanol free) with maxima castor 927 at 32:1 and some maxima octane booster that makes it about 94 octane fuel. I was just wondering if running race fuel at 50/50 or something would be something I should do.
  4. i have a 2009 rm85 /105 53mm piston in it i have a vortex ignition R&D power valve cover and i want to switch the carb to a pwk 28mm the stock carb was a pe28mm i have no idea on where to start with the jetting
  5. Trying to come up with tank for sons yz 85 so I can run 2 radiators. I've seen it done on rm before! Help!
  6. I want to restore a 1996 cr80 that doesn’t have any graphics and absolutely love the 1994 cr125r tank shroud graphics, I can’t seem to find anything that fits the cr80 with those graphics. I found one last week but lost the page and couldn’t track it down again, do the cr125r graphics fit the cr80 tank shrouds? or does anyone know where someone could make them for cheap or know about any in Australia
  7. hi all, I just bought a 2014 Yamaha yz250f that is set up for a 120lb rider. the guy gave me the old fork and shock springs that were for a 180 pound rider. I have a friend who always bottoms out his yz85/105 super mini because the suspension is not set up right for him. Would i be able to put the springs i got into his bike. Both bikes has srs suspension. I know some spring cutting may be required but could it be done? Thanks for any help Luke
  8. hello, i have a ktm 105sx and plan to race next season. i have Klotz Super Techniplate, Klotz Benol, Klotz R-50, and castor 927. i am running castor 927 right now in my ktm 105sx, but i plan to run a tank of each oil through it. it has a power value right at the exhaust port and im not worried about that getting clogged up, i plan to race wide open most of the time. if anyone has an opinion on witch one you like let me know, also in a week or so i will have of ran each of the oils through it and if you ask i can give you my opinion.
  9. I’ve got a 2002 cr80r that I’m considering building into a super mini. The bike isn’t going to be strictly track ridden, nor is it going to be strictly trail ridden either, or will really see a little bit of everything. The common size that I see these bikes bored to for a supermini is 105cc, and that seems to be the safest bore one would want to go. I’m running into a bit of a problem where I can have the cylinder sleeved by La Sleeve, or I could have someone like Eric Gorr bore it over to 105 and replate it for me. What are the pros and cons of each of these ?
  10. Can anybody help with some information on a PR2 build cost? Long story short, bought a used RM85L that had a ton of work done. Full PR2 Suspension, PC pipe, assortment of anodized fasteners and brackets... But the one thing I can't find a price on, nor can my local shop, is how much the engine will cost to be repaired back to it's pre-theft condition. It is an RM112 Works Stroker Motor from PR2 Racing. The police need a quote and the PR2 website doesn't have anything set in stone. Have any of you recently purchased this package from PR2, and if so, could you tell me the cost before tax? When the bike was stolen, I had just removed the gas tank and top end to replace the piston and ring. This was late 2016. Jeff had corresponded with me at that point, and after inspection of all parts, he said the piston looked ok so just buy a ring. Whoever had stolen the bike also stole the box of parts sitting next to it (but they forgot to grab the gas tank and frankensteined an older one on LOL), and put everything back together. In doing so, they put too long of a bolt in the power valve cover, cracking a small part of the cylinder, left a large amount of dirt and debris in the bottom end, only torqued 3 out of the 4 base nuts, improperly torqued the head (pr2 super coolhead) leading to combustion gasses leaking into the coolant passages, and made numerous other smaller careless mistakes. Thanks for any help!
  11. Please help in this link https://photos.app.goo.gl/Cf4WKn4caD9ZRfdVA is a video of me on a track day were my bike was bogging like crazy this isnt the only time it happens, are my power valves stuck? is my jetting wrong? what is wrong with my bike
