Hey guys I'm purchasing a 2019 yamaha tt125 and are looking into future upgrades for it. I know I should modify the airbox but should I do that right away? Do you guys know any upgrades that you like? Or anything you've heard positive reviews about. Also not looking to spend too much money. Anything you guys know would be great. Thanks, Jack
Hi. I'm looking for a bike for an almost 15 yr old boy. He is 130lbs and about 5'5. He road a ttr90 until it obviously got way too small for him. I like the ttr becuase it is a 125. Also, he will rarely be riding it on a track and 90% of the time will be on trails. But I like the 85 because it is faster and it is a two stroke. What do you think? Thank You.
An introduction, I'm a Novice to Intermediate rider. I'm clocking in at 170 @5'7 fit build I'm coming from an 03' CRF250F I'll be riding a mix of fast riding and slow technical stuff. Any where from sandy flats, single track, rocky slow technical riding, and all in between. I will be riding for the adrenaline rush, learning more technical techniques, and just because it's so damn fun. So I recently have been trying to find myself a new dirt bike that will fit what I ride. After TONS and I mean hours of research I settled upon the KTM 300 XC 2020 and the Yamaha YZ250X. But I can't decide which one to get because they both have Pros and Cons respectively. I was originally just going to go for the KTM but then I saw the Yamaha where I live going for $6800 almost a thousand dollars under MSRP and i was told around $7700 OTD. Meanwhile, I could barely get the KTM 300 XC out the door for under $11000 but now that they're not selling anything amid the pandemic I might be able to knock some of that off. Cost difference (Estimate/W Destination Charges & Tax included): $11000(KTM) - $7700(Yamaha) = $3300 In conclusion, I'm stuck on the fence between the 2 because I really love the KTM because of the bells and whistles including that TPI engine with the 300cc but damn I the Yamaha would save myself a LOT of money. But, doesn't have the bells and whistles. What would you do or what should be the determining factor? Any advice? For those who own either one, what's your take? THANKS FOR THE HELP
